Joanna Rakoff (born 1972) is an American freelance journalist, poet, critic and novelist. Her novel A Fortunate Age won the Goldberg Prize for Fiction, and was a New York Times Editors' Choice, an Elle and Booklist Best Book of 2009, and a San Francisco Chronicle Best Seller.
